COUGH-IT
COVID-19 self-test app, based on AI audio recognition of cough.
As the pandemic burst, early on Feb 2020 came to my head the thought about a COVID-19 self-test app, based on AI recognition of cough.
I immediately grouped experts and initial investors to start gathering samples and conducting preliminary tests, as well as established initial relationships with Israel's leading HMOs in order to conduct trials from a mutual point of interest.
Soon enough the trials showed clearly that the idea is partially viable, meaning it may help identifying a group of cough related diseases, but could not reach the certainty of differentiating one disease from another.
Later studies made have approved those findings.
