Ag-tech is one of the hottest names currently, longside med-tech, clean-tech & bio-tech.
In fact, this is the first link in a long value chain, that if executed correctly - streches from the farm to our fork.
On the other hand, If something goes wrong on the way (post harvest), for example an ingredient or element turns rotten before entering our digestion system - then all the other tech disciplines mentioned before would also play a crucial role.
So we can clearly understand that a good start, meaning a quality agricultural process, would generate a high value product.
If we'll make sure a seed, plant or a tree have all the optimum environmental conditions it needs - nature will do the rest. Same goes for the post harvest phase.
Here comes the question normally of "how can we make sure those conditions are met?"
That's where precision agriculture & Ag-Tech enter into the equation.
Some 3 years ago, while most of the world was under quarantine & only few of us could move in the streets in order to maintain crucial value chains running, I was invited by the Israeli MFA to build a presentation to introduce the theme for foreign governments officials.
After an hour of explanations, I was asked to develop a 6 weeks practical course.
I started it in English & after the first successful round moved also to present it in Spanish.
If you want to purchase the course, feel free to contact me here.
Meanwhile I invite you to watch the lecture that started the process.
Any questions will be happily answered in the comments below.
Enjoy!
